Refund Policy
This policy covers all purchases made on Tune Tavern, including Early Access packages, Bartender services, skip credits, and subscriptions. Last updated May 2026.
Early Access Purchases
Early Access packages grant immediate platform access and may include session credits, badges, or other perks.
- Full refund available within 24 hours of purchase, provided you have not played back any session or consumed any included credit.
- Once any playback or credit redemption occurs — even partial — the purchase is considered fulfilled and no refund is available.
- After the 24-hour window, all Early Access purchases are final regardless of usage.
To request a refund, email support@tunetavern.app within 24 hours of purchase with your order reference.
Bartender Services (Escrow)
Payments for Bartender peer-to-peer services are held in escrow and released to the provider on delivery confirmation.
- Each service order has a 30-day delivery window from purchase. If delivery does not occur within this window, the escrow is automatically returned to the buyer.
- Once you mark an order as delivered or the auto-release timer expires after delivery, funds are released to the provider and are non-refundable.
- Disputes about delivery quality must be raised through the in-platform dispute flow before the auto-release fires. We will review evidence from both parties within 5 business days.
- If a provider fails to deliver within the 30-day window and no extension was agreed, you will receive a full refund automatically — no support ticket needed.
Skip Purchases
Queue skips are digital consumables that take effect immediately on purchase.
- Skip purchases are non-refundable once applied to a session queue.
- If a skip purchase fails due to a platform error (e.g., payment processed but skip not applied), contact support within 48 hours for a full refund or credit.
- Fraudulent charges — where you did not initiate the purchase — are refunded on confirmation after account investigation.
- Unused skip credits have no expiry and remain on your account indefinitely.
Subscriptions
Pro and hosting subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on your chosen plan.
- Pro-rated refund available within the first 7 days of a new subscription period — calculated on days remaining versus days used.
- After 7 days, the current billing cycle is non-refundable. Your access continues through the end of the paid period regardless of cancellation.
- Annual plans cancelled within 7 days of renewal receive a pro-rated refund for the unused months. Annual plans cancelled after 7 days receive no refund for the current year.
- Cancellation stops auto-renewal immediately. You retain access until the period ends.
Cancel anytime from Settings → Subscription. Refund requests must come via email to support@tunetavern.app.
Chargebacks & Disputes
We take billing disputes seriously. Before filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer, please contact our support team — we resolve most issues faster than the chargeback process.
- Initiating a chargeback without first contacting Tune Tavern support results in immediate account suspension pending investigation. This is necessary to prevent fraud.
- If the chargeback is found to be fraudulent or in bad faith, the account may be permanently banned and the matter referred for further action.
- If the chargeback is valid (e.g., unauthorized transaction), the suspension is lifted immediately on resolution and we assist with the recovery process.
How to Request a Refund
- Email support@tunetavern.app with the subject line Refund Request — [Order Reference].
- Include your account email, the purchase date, and the reason for your request.
- We acknowledge all refund requests within 48 hours and issue a decision within 5 business days.
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing time varies by card issuer (typically 3–10 business days).
